The Short Version
Go to the Gift Cards page on texasroadhouse.com and use the "Check Your Balance" box. You'll need the 16–19 digit card number and the 4–8 digit PIN hidden under the scratch-off panel on the back of the card.
How to Check Your Balance Online
- Open texasroadhouse.com/gift-cards (the official Gift Cards page).
- Find the card number on the back of your card. It is 16 to 19 digits long.
- Gently scratch off the silver panel on the back to reveal the PIN (4 to 8 digits). Use a coin or fingernail, not a knife, which can damage the numbers.
- Enter both in the "Check Your Balance" form.
Can't Find the PIN?
The PIN sits under the scratch-off box on the back of the card. If it's unreadable, the official site directs you to Texas Roadhouse Guest Relations at 1-800-839-7623.
Lost, Stolen or Damaged Card
Texas Roadhouse says it isn't liable for lost, stolen or damaged cards, but it asks you to use the Contact Us form on its website, choose "Gift cards" and include proof of payment so it can try to help.
E-Gift Card Didn't Arrive?
Official e-gift cards come from texasroadhousegiftcards@cashstar.com. Check your spam, junk or promotions folder, and add that address to your trusted senders. The official site also notes that physical cards sent by USPS have no tracking number and can take a while, so an e-gift card is the faster option.
Can You Get Cash Back for a Small Balance?
Usually not, but some states require it when the remaining balance is small. According to the official gift card FAQ, these include:
