The Short Version
Every Texas Roadhouse gift card has a unique card number (and usually a PIN) printed on the back. That number is what you use to check the balance, either through the restaurant's own gift card lookup or by asking a cashier to check it for you in person or over the phone at any location.
How to Check the Balance
- Flip the card over and find the card number (and PIN, if there is one) printed on the back - keep this private the way you would a credit card number.
- Use Texas Roadhouse's official gift card balance lookup (search "Texas Roadhouse gift card balance" to find the current official page, since URLs can change) and enter the card number and PIN.
- If you'd rather not do it online, call or visit any Texas Roadhouse location and ask a team member to check the balance for you - they can look it up at the register.
- If you bought the card through a third-party retailer (a grocery store gift card rack, for example) rather than directly from Texas Roadhouse, that retailer's receipt is also worth keeping in case the card needs to be reactivated or replaced.
What If the Number Is Worn Off or the Card Is Damaged?
If the card number is illegible, bring the physical card (or whatever's left of it) to a Texas Roadhouse location along with your original receipt if you still have it. Most gift card programs can look up a damaged card's balance and reissue it using the receipt and any partial information from the card itself. This isn't something you can do reliably online without the card number, so an in-person or phone conversation with the restaurant is your best path.
Where Can You Use a Texas Roadhouse Gift Card?
Texas Roadhouse gift cards are generally accepted at any corporate and franchise Texas Roadhouse location nationwide, for dine-in, takeout, and typically online ordering as well. As with pricing, always worth a quick call to your specific location if you're planning to use a large balance and want to be sure before you go.
